The most famous places in the world to find dinosaur footprints are the Wealden in South East England, Lark Quarry in Queensland, Australia and Paluxy River in Texas, USA. The Wealden yields fossils from the late Cretaceous and Lark Quarry yields fossils first made in clay then filled in with sandstone. Fossils found in Paluxy River are limestone molds filled with clay from the Cretaceous. |
