Fossils, Rock & Minerals

The studies have revealed that more than 99 percent of all species who lived on this earth are now extinct. Though extinctions have robbed from us the opportunity to see those marvelous creatures who walked on this earth millions of years ago but it has proved blessing in disguise for many species to grow and flourish which otherwise would have been impossible.

Thanks to the fossil formation which have made it possible for us to see these and visualize these long lost creatures. Basically Fossils are the remains of plants and animals which no longer exist. There are several reasons for their extinction but their traces found in fossils have made us admire them and curious to know more.  For that matter the fossil of wooly mammoth found has helped us to know first of all that they existed and other remarkable features.

Likewise the rocks and minerals have their own story to tell. There are petrified forests with trees thousands of years old have turned into rocks and minerals and the amazing crystals formed out of them. All these fossils and formations are naturally occurring phenomenon and are the wonderful creation taking place on and inside the earth.
