Tyrannosaurus Rex Natural Habitat

The Tyrannosaurus rex was able to live in a variety of habitats but most of the fossils are located in areas that were once subtropical forest. There were animals still found in modern day like turtles, birds, crocodiles, frogs, monitor lizards and gar. There were also palms, shrubs and ferns (but no grass). However, huge pterosaurs were also flying around with wingspans at 35 feet. Birds with teeth soared above the canopy and herds of duck-billed dinosaurs and Triceratops moved across the area. There were also mammals and maybe even primates in the forest at this time.
